An exhaust valve is a valve on a turbocharged engine system that separates exhaust gas from the turbine. The separation of the exhaust gas reduces the turbine speed, which in turn reduces the compressor speed. The main function of the exhaust valve is to stabilize the propulsion pressure of the turbocharging system to protect the engine and turbocharger. The exhaust valve is controlled by the exhaust valve actuator, which in turn is controlled by the pressure in the intake manifold.

Micro exhaust valve
Under normal circumstances, the water contains about 2 VOL% of dissolved air. During the water delivery process, these air are continuously released from the water and gather at the high point of the pipeline to form an air pocket (AIRPOCKET), which makes water delivery difficult. The water delivery capacity of the system can thus be reduced by about 5-15%. The main function of this micro exhaust valve is to remove the dissolved air of 2 VOL%, and it is suitable for installation in high-rise buildings, pipelines in factories, and small pump stations to protect or improve the water delivery efficiency of the system and save energy.
Single rod type (SIMPLELEVERTYPE) micro exhaust valve is a similar oval valve body, all internal parts including float ball, lever, lever frame, valve seat, etc. are made of 304S.S stainless steel, the internal use of standard exhaust aperture 1/16 ", suitable for Z up to PN25 working pressure environment.
Working principle of exhaust valve of marine diesel engine accessories
In the exhaust state, the buoy pulls down one end of the lever due to the action of gravity. At this time, the lever is in a tilted state. There is a gap in the contact part between the lever and the exhaust hole, and the air is discharged from the exhaust hole through this gap. The water level rises, the buoy floats up under the action of the buoyancy of the water, and the sealing end face on the lever gradually presses the exhaust hole until the entire exhaust hole is completely blocked. The exhaust valve is now completely closed.
