Cylinder gasket

During assembly, the side with the curled edge should face the cylinder head; if installed in the opposite direction, it will cause early leakage and damage to the cylinder gasket, thereby reducing its service life.

Piston

The horseshoe-shaped groove on the top or the pointed side of the top should face upwards; if installed in the opposite direction, it will not facilitate the mixture of fuel and air, and the unburned fuel cannot generate secondary vortex motion for complete combustion, resulting in the diesel engine not starting or working abnormally after starting.

Connecting rod and piston assembly

The oil hole at the small end of the connecting rod and the horseshoe-shaped groove or the pointed side on the top of the piston should be on the same side facing upwards; otherwise, it will cause the small end bushing of the connecting rod and the piston pin to fail to be lubricated, resulting in dry friction.
