L28/32 diesel engine parts analysis of reasons for excessive exhaust temperature

Excessive Exhaust Temperature Excessive exhaust temperature is mainly caused by the combustion system, fuel system, and intake and exhaust systems. The exhaust temperature of marine diesel engine parts refers to the temperature of the exhaust gas discharged from the marine diesel engine after combustion. The normal exhaust temperature depends on the normal combustion of the marine diesel engine. The basic condition of normal combustion is that there is a certain amount of fuel, which is well mixed with enough air under good atomization conditions, and is completely burned in the combustion chamber. Therefore, the factors that do not meet these conditions will cause the exhaust temperature to be too high.

1. Intake and exhaust system:

⑴ The air intake resistance is large: the air filter is dirty, the compressor is dirty, the intercooler is dirty, and the cylinder head intake duct is dirty.

⑵ Low intake pressure: supercharger failure; leakage of intake and exhaust pipes.

⑶ Exhaust resistance is large: the exhaust pipe is too thin and long, with many turns; the cylinder head exhaust duct is blocked.

⑷ The valve clearance is wrong.

2. Fuel combustion system: the fuel supply advance angle is too late; the fuel supply of individual cylinders is too large; the fuel injector is poorly atomized; the fuel quality is poor and does not meet the requirements; the cylinder compression pressure is low.

3. Others: the ambient temperature is too high; the temperature of the intermediate cold water is too high; overload operation.
