DK28 diesel engine parts engine cylinder head carbon deposit treatment method
When removing carbon deposits on steel parts, such as cylinder heads and valves, you can mix and clean with 25 grams of recyclable sodium, 31 grams of sodium carbonate, 10 grams of sodium carbonate, 8 grams of soap, 5 grams of potassium bicarbonate, and 1000 grams of water. And heat it to 70℃-80(WHTVT)℃, soak the parts in the cleaning solution for about 30 minutes to soften the carbon deposits and wipe the parts, and then rinse them with hot water.
When removing carbon deposits on aluminum alloy parts such as pistons and vertical cylinder heads, use 20 grams of sodium carbonate, 8 grams of sodium silicate, 10 grams of soap, 5 grams of potassium bicarbonate, and 1000 grams of water to make a cleaning solution. The solution is heated to 70℃-80℃, and the parts are soaked in the cleaning solution for about 30 minutes. After the carbon deposits are softened, they are removed, and then rinsed with hot water to dry.
The prevention of carbon deposits in marine diesel engine parts should start from the following aspects: ①Keep the cylinder with good airtightness; ②The fuel atomization should be good; ③The intake and exhaust ducts should be kept unobstructed; ④The gas distribution should be corresponding, and the fuel supply time should be Accurate; ⑤The spark-over voltage of the spark plug should be normal; ⑥The water temperature of the engine should be normal; ⑦The fuel of qualified and specified brand should be selected.
