The working principle of

Marine diesel engine is a kind of Marine diesel engine.The working principle is as follows:

A fresh air is pumped into or pumped into the engine cylinder and compressed to high pressure by a moving piston.When air is compressed, its temperature rises so that it can ignite the mist of fuel that is ejected into the cylinder.The burning of fuel adds more heat to the charged air, causing expansion and forcing the generator  piston to work on the crankshaft, which in turn drives the ship's propeller through other shafts.

The operation between two fuel injection is called a working cycle.In a four-stroke diesel engine, this cycle is accomplished by four different strokes of the piston: suction, compression, expansion, and exhaust.If we combine suction and exhaust with compression and expansion, a four-stroke engine becomes a two-stroke generator.

The two-stroke cycle begins when the piston rises from the bottom of its stroke (the bottom stop) and the air inlet on the side of the cylinder is open.At this point, the exhaust valve also opened, fresh air into the cylinder, the last stroke of residual gas through the open exhaust valve blowing out.The valve blew out.

When the piston moves up to about a fifth of its stroke in the morning, it closes the inlet, and the exhaust valve closes, so the temperature and pressure rise to very high levels.

When the piston reaches the top of its stroke (i.e. the top stop), the fuel valve squirts the mist of fuel into the hot air inside the cylinder, burning the fuel immediately and causing the pressure to rise quickly.In this way, the expanding gas forces the piston to move down during the working stroke.

When the piston moves down to half of the trip of a place, the exhaust valve opens, the high temperature of the gas pressure from its beginning through the exhaust valve to drain out, helped by the pressure through the inlet into the fresh air.The inlet opens as the piston descends further.Then another cycle began.

In a two-stroke engine, the crankshaft on a business trip for a power stroke, and four stroke engines, need the second revolution of the crankshaft to do work of a stroke, that is why the two-stroke engine under the same size can do about two times the four-stroke engine by the reason of doing work.In the current practical use, a two-stroke engine with the same cylinder diameter and the same speed produces about 80 percent more power than a four-stroke engine.This increase in engine power makes the two-stroke generator widely used as the main engine for large ships.
